2. Sit Your Mock Exam

Access brand-new, unseen Mocks aligned to your exact spec. Use the built-in timer to sit your exam in real conditions.

3. Mark and get feedback

Tick off topics as you go to see how far you’ve come. Revisit anything you’re not confident on and adjust your plan as needed.

4. Receive your expected grade

Mock Drop is a 2-week event where you sit brand-new, unseen Mock Exams written by our expert teachers and examiners. Complete the full set within the window and real examiners will assess your marks and send you your expected grade.
Complete all the Mocks in your set within the 2-week drop window. After the window closes, our examiners will review your marks against past grade boundaries and email your expected grade on Mock Drop Results Day on 13 April (UTC).
Mock Drop covers 28 courses across A Level, GCSE, IGCSE and O Level. Check the landing page for your specific subject and exam board.
Our experienced teachers and examiners have used past exam board data and paper analysis to set course-specific grade boundaries especially for this Mock Drop.
Where courses have weighted papers our team have carefully applied weighting to your raw score to calculate your estimated grade. For mocks which contain levelled response questions, we've used the median score to calculate your estimated grade.
Just like in your real exams you'll have to wait a little to receive your estimated grade. Grade boundaries can vary each year, they also take into account the weightings of certain papers to convert your raw total score into an appropriate grade. Our team of experienced examiners and teachers will do this for you so you can get as close to the real exam experience as possible.
