AS Biology covers the first year of A Level content - biological molecules, cells, exchange surfaces, transport in animals and plants, and the fundamentals of DNA and genetics. A Level Biology builds on all of this in Year 13, adding photosynthesis, respiration, nervous systems, and ecosystems, with greater exam demand across three papers.
