What is a developer?

In IB Computer Science, a developer is a person who creates, tests, and maintains software applications, websites, or systems. Developers use programming languages, frameworks, and tools to build functional and efficient solutions that meet user or business requirements.

Types of developers:

  • Software developers: Create desktop and mobile applications.

  • Web developers: Build and maintain websites and web applications.
