What is analogue data?
In IGCSE Computer Science, analogue data is continuous and varies smoothly over time. It is commonly found in real-world signals such as sound waves, temperature changes, and radio waves.
Analogue vs Digital
Unlike digital data, which is stored in discrete binary values (0s and 1s), analogue data must be converted into digital format using an Analogue-to-Digital Converter (ADC) for computer processing.
