In the context of GCSE Business, an "aim" refers to a broad, long-term goal that a business is trying to achieve in the medium- to long-term. It is the main purpose that guides the company's decisions and strategies, helping to drive the business forward and measure success over time.

Aims provide the basis for objectives such as increasing market share, achieving sustainable growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, or becoming industry leaders. Clearly defined aims provide direction and motivate employees, ensuring that all efforts are aligned towards achieving the business's ultimate vision.
