What is coding?

In AP Computer Science, coding is the process of writing instructions for a computer using a programming language. These instructions, also known as code, tell the computer how to perform specific tasks, such as calculations, data processing, or controlling hardware.

Why is coding important?

Coding is essential in software development, enabling the creation of applications, websites, and automation tools. It allows programmers to:
