What does the Ans button on your calculator do?

The Ans button recalls the last answer the calculator calculated. If you have used your calculator to work out a long calculation and then want to square the answer, you can just type Ans 2 .

False. You should only round your answer at the very end of your working, otherwise you may get rounding errors. You can show you are not rounding by putting three dots at the end of a number. For example: sin(20)=0.3420... then 15×0.3420... means you typed in 15×Ans.
