Section D offers a choice of three decisions assessed by a 12 mark extended writing question
It examines critical thinking and problem solving
The total marks for this section are 16 (25%)
The 'issue' is drawn from topics 7, 8 and 9
It is important to study all the information carefully, work out its meaning and how it connects
Past 'issues'
Past issues have included:
Palm oil industry in Indonesia
Oil production in Norway
Energy sources
Challenge of deforestation in Cambodia

The questions examine:
Geographical skills and application of knowledge
Interpretation and analysis of the materials provided
