“I always remind my Psychology students to apply their knowledge of cognitive neuroscience to their revision! The more frequently they practice recalling information from memory, the more likely it is to be retained in their long-term memory. The trace that learning leaves on the brain becomes permanent as the neural connections are strengthened with repeated practice.”
