Education
Katie graduated from the University of Sheffield with a First Class joint honours BSc in Physics with Astrophysics. She completed a PGCE in Secondary Science with a Physics specialism at the University of Bristol.
Teaching experience
After becoming a qualified teacher, Katie spent 5 years teaching physics (as well as chemistry and biology) at secondary schools and sixth forms across the UK, Spain and, more recently, online. Throughout her career, she also gained experience as a maths teacher, a specialist SEN teacher, and even a lab technician!
Published work
Katie has written and edited online course materials for distance learners preparing to take the AQA A Level Physics exam
Katie has worked as an author with another educational publisher in the UK, publishing physics resources such as revision notes, practice topic question packs and summary posters for a range of levels and exam boards.
