Education and work

• Danielle gained a BA Hons in Business Management from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, followed by a PGCE in Business Education at Edge Hill University. Since then, Danielle explored her love of Enterprise Education whilst completing a Masters in Education also at Edge Hill University.

• Danielle has held a number of roles including Head of Work Related Learning, Head of Department and Post 16 Learning Leader.

Student and Teacher Success

• Danielle has successfully led and delivered a range of Business and Economics qualifications that have helped students to achieve outstanding results. Throughout her teaching career, Danielle has strived for students to enjoy the dynamic subjects of Business and Economics and engage with wider reading from the world around us.

• Danielle has also mentored many trainee teachers and led a variety of CPD courses related to post 16 teaching and learning strategies, having been part of the team responsible for staff development in this area.

Examining Experience

• Danielle has been an examiner for Edexcel GCSE and has worked with Oxford Study Courses in delivering a workshop related to the scheme of teaching when the new IB Business Management specification was introduced.

• Danielle has also experienced the expertise of the chief examiners for OCR Economics when attending training courses throughout recent years.

Published Work

• Whilst teaching IB, Danielle had a blog published examining the planning of the IB course. Additionally, Danielle has created many resources and provided some Tutor2u to use on their CPD course in recent years.
