Teaching Experience

• Briley is an experienced Head of Geography With over 16 years of teaching experience, Briley was awarded a PGCE from the University of Lancaster and has a degree in European Studies and Human Geography.

• Briley has worked in schools in the UK, Bermuda and Turkey. Her teaching experience covers many different levels from IGCSE through to IB and US AP courses.

Achievements in their field

• In addition to being a Head of Geography, Briley is a member of the Geographical Association and is on the organisation’s special interest group - Diversity and Inclusion.

• Briley’s work has also been highlighted by the head of education at the Royal Geographical Society in the Times Educational Supplement.

Published articles

• Briley has written articles for the Teaching Geography Journal, a book chapter on Place-Based Education and a report on Decolonising IB Geography.
